Let’s talk about customizing paint Colors San Francisco Victorian: Color Touch just finished painting a San Francisco Edwardian and we are very psyched about how the colors worked out! Initially the owner chose two greens: one for main body and one as an accent; an off-white trim color (accented by a mustard/yellow), and a red, accented by gold.
We thought that he colors looked great on the color chart, but the intended body color (HC122) and the red (HC65) were too bright on the house. Green and red tend to cancel and mute each other. WE know that because of this, one can really get some great customized color results by playing with the red/green dynamic. Therefore by simply adding a touch of red to the green, and a touch of green to the red, we were able to harmonize the palate. In the end we produced a great paint job but above all the owner loved the harmonized results!
